Mohabat TV

Our goal is to promote change. We do this through the media arm of heart4iran.

Since its launch in 2006, Mohabat TV has operated under-cover. However, in 2014 we are trusting God to begin to establish relationships with American churches and Christian leaders. Because of the rapid growth of the underground church in Iran, we feel it’s the right time to begin to share with Western believers about Mohabat TV’s amazing platform and partnership with nearly 30 indigenous ministries that have a heart for Iran.

Mohabat TV was launched as the first 24/7 Farsi Christian channel. “Mohabat” means “Agape Love.” Despite government persecution and crippling sanctions, Mohabat TV broadcasts the Gospel of Jesus Christ directly to millions of people of Iran through satellite and Internet technology. The picture to the bottom, right is a picture of satellite dishes inside Iran.

In response to tremendous interest and need, our programs promote healing, evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. We receive 10,000 inbound and outbound calls, and millions of social media responses a month. With teams in the Canada, Europe, U.S. and Middle East, we provide program response, counseling and connection for nearly 30 ministry partners and Iranian church leaders broadcasting on the channel. In addition, Mohabat TV handles the follow up for various indigenous networks ministering inside Iran. Our own project data shows that this programming is resulting in year over year increases in new believers and growing churches, addresses current issues, and develop leaders who meet the spiritual growth of the church among Persian speakers.
